Connect organizer payments
Use the organizer’s own payment account for paid events.
Stripe Connect is the approved first production provider, but production onboarding and live payments require activation. TestPay is only for testing. Sensitive organizer actions and private attendee, member or sales reads also require recent passkey verification in Account → Security.
When onboarding is enabled
- Sign in as an organization administrator and open the organization settings.
- Choose the Stripe connection action and continue through Stripe-hosted onboarding.
- Complete the provider’s required account information and return to Kitix.
- Check the connection status before relying on paid ticket sales.
Account responsibility
The organizer is the merchant and receives proceeds in its connected account. Provider verification, processing fees and account requirements still apply.
If connection is incomplete
Return to the provider onboarding action when available and complete its outstanding requirements. Do not paste provider secrets into event descriptions or send them to attendees.
Other providers
A comparison or future provider plan is not evidence that it can process live Kitix ticket sales. Do not use staging TestPay for a real event.
